Cookie Information

March 6th, 2013

The Member Zone of the BRMNA website uses cookies that are designed to help you get the most out of the features that are available. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you browse websites. It is possible that the term cookies raises concerns about "spyware". Rather than switching off cookies in your browser you may find that your security software or anti-spyware software achieves the same thing by automatically deleting cookies considered to be invasive.

The cookies arising from use of the Member Zone will:

  • save you having to re-login as you navigate from page to page;
  • remember your settings during visits; and
  • improve the speed and security of the site.

BRMNA does not use cookies to:

  • collect personal information;
  • collect sensitive information; or
  • provide information to non-members.

BRMNA does use cookies to:

  • remember whether or not you have accepted the terms and conditions in the registration process;
  • determine whether or not you are logged in to the Member Zone;
  • allow you to add comments in the Member Zone;
  • remember your search settings; and
  • remember your Member Zone preferences.

If you wish to remove cookies or not use cookies installed by the Member Zone it will probably result in it not working as you might expect.

If your browser settings accept cookies and you use the Member Zone this is taken as explicitly permitting BRMNA to install Member Zone cookies on your computer.
